First game... nice work! - 30/04/2011

Great game today guys!  Not the best bottom line but hey...  it gives us plenty to work on doesn't it?

I thought each of you had some very good strengths that you bring to the team:

• Joel - geeez you're tall!
• Daniel, Patrick, Nather - great moves and good hard workers. 
• Will and Charlie - great little guards and can get in and out of anywhere, gotta have that!
• Jack and Jesse - good solid guys ready to get in front and put their hands up.

The makings of an excellent team.  Once we get to know each other a little better and learn how to use each others strengths we'll be a powerhouse!  I look forward to it.

Thanks for trying really hard today and it was great to meet you all.

I'll let you know about training as soon as I possibly can.

Welcome team - 29/04/2011

G'day guys. So now we know who's in our team. You can see the details on the separate page by using the tab above or by clicking this.

I'm pretty sure a couple of you know each other already and a number of you have already played a few seasons of basketball. I hope we can teach each other lots of good stuff.

Have a go at the poll on the right and tell us what you want out of this season!

Let's hope we have a great time. I'm looking forward to meeting you all tomorrow for our game at Forest Hill at 11am.

Commencement of the blog for the Kangas U12s

Hi. This is the first post for the Nunawading Kangas Under 12(6) basketball team.

We will try to keep you up-to-date with exactly what is going on.

We'll put fixtures in, team lists, coaching tips and all sorts of stuff.

So make sure you keep an eye on this blog at least every few days so you know what the drill is.

When I say 'we' I mean me (Richard Read - Coach) and the team manager when we get one.
